HOTEL LE NEGRESCO in Nice, Provence

The hotel displays over 6,000 works of art and period furniture, from Louis XIII to contemporary pieces, throughout its public areas. The entrance features sculptures and portraits from the 17th and 18th centuries, and the Salon Royal houses the Nana Jaune by Niki de Saint Phalle alongside seven carpets by Raymon Moretti. The Massena Reception Room offers an authentic 18th-century decor under the portrait of Louis XIV, one of three original canvases by Hyacinthe Rigau, with the others in Versailles and the Louvre.

Each of the 102 rooms and 26 suites is fitted with exceptional period or contemporary furniture, representing five centuries of French art from Louis XIII to modern design. The Signature Suites include the angel Suite nestled under the pink dhome, and the Marie-Antoinette suite with Louis XV style. Family deluxe rooms offer a sitting area with a sofa bed, while the Jeanne & Paul Penthouse Suite provides two bedrooms and a large walk-in closet.

Le Chantecler, led by Chef Virgine Basselot, holds a Michelin star and serves regionally sourced gastronomic dishes in a refined setting. La Rotonde brasserie offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily with white and gold decor, and the bar Le Versailles provides cocktails and sharing platters to live music. For summer, the Le Negresco Beach Club serves lunches overlooking the Baie des Anges.

N le Spa occupies a large wellness suite independent from the main hotel, with a private space for comprehensive treatments. The hotel has a private beach area across the Promenade des Anglais with sun loungers, chaise lounges, and bar service.
